In the morning, we had the opportunity of doing something quite special. Everyone loves a special surprise on the street. So we thought how best to go randomly bless a Hong Kong teenager! And what better than a decorated fan (it’s pretty hot here in the summer!). So we coloured in two plain fans and set out into the torrential rain!

Soon enough our group came across a lovely girl named Bella. I spotted her and got chatting. She seemed really touched that we had noticed her and wanted to give our especially designed fan to her! It was simply so special to see her smile slowly appear….

Such a lovely picture to me that it doesn’t take much to bring a smile to people’s faces!

The rest of the day was very special too and we ended up hearing an incredible testimony of a woman from Hong Kong who was suicidal when she was younger, however by the grace of God found hope and now serves in the community helping others find hope and life too. A truly inspiring woman full of passion and zest for life!

The evening ended with a flood of photos with all my new Hong Kong friends – I really stand out here I must admit – tall, and blond haired – quite the opposite of most!
