“Just Bee” Signpost!

When I arrived into LA, I knew I was ready for the WILD!
On the flight over the Lord spoke to me really clearly while in flight (which He often does). There is something that I find truly mesmerising about flying, it is the place I hear the Lord’s voice so clearly and can think clearly too!

Jessica it’s time for adventure. It is time to see how much I have got you covered. It is time to launch higher than you dreamed! It is time to BEE! You are taking flight and launching into unknown. It is a beautiful place to be. Thank you for coming away with me and trusting me with the steps. Your trust is stunning and so deep. I see it with clear view. I don’t take it for granted. This summer is perfect for discovery. It is a summer of sweet pursuit and trust. Let me be your lover, first and foremost. I am teaching you to be my love and my bride. That is what you are. A stunner! I am redoing your war-robe and dressing you in new colours and new life. This season has been one of heaviness and heart surgery. I am now stepping you into recovery and rebirth, refreshment and revitalisation. You will have space to breathe, to think, to dream, to write, to be, to smile, to dance, swim and create.

Jessica you are coming back to life. You are a breathe of fresh air to the earth. I want to be the breath in your lungs this summer. I want to breathe through you with your writing and your words. Let me bless you with wild gifts and surprises. Let me pursue your heart in the most stunning way. I have wild dreams for you. Get ready. This is just the start. I am proud of you for saying “yes” and going. It is time.

Jordan is coming. Next year. 2022. That is the key. For now it’s time to rest and enjoy the journey. Rest and bee with me. Write your heart and allow me to open your eyes to what is possible.  You are landing at 4:44pm for a reason. It is an “OPEN DOORS” season. It is time to dream and step through the open doors with confidence. Nothing is impossible. NOTHING! I have WAY more than you can dream.

Take a risk. Believe in your work, your words, your writing, your photography and PLAN FOR DREAMS TO HAPPEN. Take intentional steps to making dreams a reality. It is TIME!

– God

When I first arrived to where I was staying I got the most beautiful surprise to see a huge lion guarding the doors. This felt like a little gift to my heart and a perfect metaphor for what the Lord had just shown me on the flight about “OPEN DOORS” and the fact that He (as the Lion) is guarding the doors!

Masterpiece moments:
That evening, Emily and I went to a worship night. I met some fascinating people and had a moment at one point that blew me away. I had just been chatting to a guy involved in acting, film and the Hollywood industry and I had a real sense while we were chatting that he was made to turn broken pieces into “Masterpieces”. I saw a glimpse and yet such a clear picture and a beautiful vision of the calling over his life to turn his own places of weakness and struggle into a ministry for others of deliverance and healing. Especially for those who need to know they are safe to be weak and need help, which is really vital in an industry like Hollywood that can breed off strength and pride. I knew next to nothing about the guy, as we had just met moments before, yet it seemed like the picture meant something to him. Then when I went to sit down, I noticed something in my sock. Right under my heel I found a random broken piece of plastic, in a dark blue colour. Amazed to find that inside my clean pair of socks, I knew that that must have been a little tangible gift from heaven to confirm the vision and word I had just shared with this man about broken pieces. As right there in my hands was a broken piece, ready to be made into a masterpiece. I gave it to him, as a reminder of this word for him about his calling!

Sweet “Beloved” times:
As we worshiped I began to dance around the kitchen with one of the white tea towels! this seems to be a common theme for me now! At the end I shared a word with those there that the Lord put on my heart: “Boulders and blocks are going to become our stepping stones in this next season”. I read an extract from a book called “Come Away, Beloved” that I had found in the bathroom! I felt the Lord’s presence so tangibly. Someone else shared a word about people’s “Roar” and we all roared aloud together. It was really powerful. Voices were being restored to those who felt theirs had been stolen.

Divine Connections:
During church I saw someone that looked just like a friend of mine from across the room. After the service was done, I went up to her to say hi. I have realised over time, that often when someone looks like someone I know it is because the Lord is wanting to encourage them in something that the person they remind me of carries too. In this case I asked if the girl was creative as my friend that she looked like was a creative. She shared she is a dancer and was going to New York that week for a dance intensive! I was so encouraged to hear that and she agreed to let me pray for her and the week ahead. Afterwards we also realised that the person renting her room while she was away was a woman I had mentored this last year at the creative university I was a part of. What a small world!

We get to be so heavenly minded that we are SO much earthly good!

That afternoon Emily and I went to the bbq by the ocean and had such a precious time. We met a girl called Shaina Smith who mentioned how much she loved my necklace of a bee. She then commented saying that she had seen a girl at church with a jacket with the words “Just Bee” on it and that it had meant so much to her. I told her that was actually me and showed her the jacket! She was so touched and explained why that phrase had meant so much to her. I loved hearing this, as this has been such a major life message for me and a big part of why I was travelling – as some friends had shared with me – “Jessica it is time for you to cross pollinate”. I later found out that Shaina was the sister of Sammi, who is the found of an organisation called, “Alive & Free”, that guides people in cultivating healthy relationships. I had met Sammi and her husband randomly on a hike up Chamise peak, with some friends a couple months before.
